Ashland University is a mid-sized, private, non-profit university located in Ashland, which is the county seat of Ashland County, situated in the US state of Ohio, having a population estimated at a number of more than 21 000 inhabitants, during the 2000 census. Ashland University was established in 1878, and its motto is `Accent on the Individual`.
